In the stroke of a pen, mandatory face mask legislation irrationally increased fear in the uninformed population by ten-fold. Face masks will do more damage than lockdown because of the unconsidered belief they are a free ride. No. Facemasks dramatically increase fear and mistrust, and will always be accompanied by restrictions on travel, gatherings, socializing, entertainment and more.
